  • From looking at all the comic strips I decided to choose this one to film. I cut up the scenes into seperate sections, this allowed me to explore each picture, enabling me to change the size of the images and the diegetic speech from the characters.
  • I had to position in the camera in the correct place before filming the shot to makes sure the image could be seen clearly and non of the computer screen could be seen.
  • When filming using the camera and tripod I tried to use a range of different shots and editing techniques such as longs shots to close-up. On the first shot I panned the camera across the computer screen to allow the viewer to see all of the section on the screen. After the first shot was filmed, I paused the camera to set up the second shot which I then proceeded to film and so on. Also I added narrations and the voices of the characters whilst filming the shots.
  • After the whole clip had been filmed, I transfered the clip onto Adobe premiere elements 8.0. This software allowed me to combine the shots together creating a flowing trailer. Since I had never used this software before I had to play around with the shots and learn how to use it.
  • To improve, I would want to know more about how to edit the shots to make it look more professional and create fast pace editing. I would also try to make the shots clearer and maybe add non-diegetic sounds over the top of the trailer.
